A gasp leaves Amita as she recalls her friend talking about an episode of the same show she just started. Amita turns to her friend, wide-eyed and beaming. "What if you're just like the guy in that one episode? He had a stuck watch too and it turns out he's a time lord."

"The difference is that Doctor Who is a fictional show, and this is real life, time lords don't exist." The moment those words left Mavis's mouth; the universe laughed. Normally, the statement would be correct, but not in this case. Mavis is an exception to that rule.
