Giyuu Tomioka the wather hashira is blind since the day his sister was attacked by a demon. She protected him but the demon caught his eyes. The other hashiras dont know it but that explains his death blue eyes.

In this au, Giyuu is not the water hashira, but Sabito is. They both passed final selection but due to Giyuu's eye injury he is blind in his left eye and keeps a bandage around it. He has a mellowed out personality but smiles and expresses his emotions. Sanemi Shinazugawa is preforming the hashira training and since all ranks have to participate he met Giyuu and was instantly wooed by Giyuu's strength, he saw Giyuu as an angle to the point Giyuu kept leaving an imprint on his mind. An alternate story of Demon Slayer in which the Water Pillar wasn't late to save the Kamado Family, but something isn't right.. Unconscious in the snow, Giyuu Tomioka is taken to get help by the eldest son of the Kamado family, Tanjiro, but Giyuu is very unwilling to stay for no reason known to him. Peace and tranquility. Most all humans wish for a life filled to the brim with it. Giyuu was no exception to that. He, much like any other people, had only ever wanted to live a comfortable life. One without hardship, and one without illness. Most people never thought to wish on the second. Giyuu, however, has suffered dearly due to both physical illness, and mental. He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific. His mind is awfully foggy at these times, and so he will often feel disoriented in a way; he wasn't thinking about where he was, and nor did he care.. The cover art isn't mine!
