"The problem, Amanda, is that, I know I'll never be enough for you." He looked down at me with glossy green eyes.

I took a sharp breath, "You are enough, it's just that..." My eyes instantly shot down.

"Just what? I don't understand what's holding you back. Why won't you love me?" His voice broke and the whole world went silent. The rustling sound of leaves above us and the slight shiver from the wind were the only reminders that the world still exists.

"You don't understand."

He placed his arms on either side of my arms and grasped me tight, his gaze locking onto mine like a lifeline, he searched through my dark eyes, possibly looking for what was already there - but he just could not see it.

"Then make me understand, Amanda!"

"I can't. You'll never love me the same when you find out. I want you to look at me with nothing but love, you'll hate me if you ever found out the other part of me that I tried so hard to suppress." My hands touched his face, gently tracing his jaw as I saw anger flash through his eyes. His jaw clenched and he tried to take a deep breath, hence closing those beautiful green eyes.

"That just means you don't know me." He let go of my arms and instantly my heart tugged. His gaze shifted down as he backed away from me. I stood there, frozen, as I watched the boy I loved walking away from me. The boy I grew to love. The boy who loved me more than I will ever know, and I loved more than I'll ever show.

His rich, velvety voice sent thrills down my spine as he spoke my name. His intense, mesmerising gaze focused on mine, making it impossible to look away. As he drew me closer, his powerful arms wrapped around me, and I could feel the warmth of his breath against my skin. The aroma of his fragrance, a seductive blend of spice and musk, filled the air, making my heart race and my senses whirl. It's as if every aspect of him is intended to captivate and enchant me, keeping me completely entranced. Release me," I muttered, feeling my cheeks heat up as I stubbornly avoided his gaze. He let go like he had forgotten to do so. For a few seconds, neither of us said anything. I fiddled with the hem of my sleeve, pretending I was calm, while secretly screaming inside. Why is he just standing there? Say something, idiot! Finally, he broke the silence. "So, why were you ignoring me?" he asked in low, almost accusing. "Why would I ignore you?" I lied without flinching, acting like innocent. But he wasn't buying it. "I saw you," he said, stepping a little closer. "You ducked behind a door like you were dodging bullets. You thought I wouldn't notice?" Ugh, busted. I rolled my eyes. "Maybe I just didn't have any reason to confront you," I replied, crossing my arms as a shield against how close he was now. He leaned in slightly, smirking, "Oh, but you had plenty of reasons to hang around those guys at the swimming pool, huh?" he shot back. "I was just... talking," I said defensively. "It's called being social. You should try it sometime instead of lurking around like a spy." He chuckled, "Lurking? Please. I was just passing by. I was surprised when I saw you laughing with those guys like you were starring in some rom-com." I refuse to back down. "And what if I was?" I challenged. He didn't flinch. Instead, he tilted his head with a mock-thoughtful expression. "Then I guess I'd have to remind you... there are better options around " he said, tapping his chest casually.

Highest rank #27 in Teen Fiction. Written by @apricitys. _ _ _ "What is this?" He asked, not even bothering to look at the canvas in front of me. Instead, his eyes were locked in mine. I swallowed my saliva, chills running down my spine. I felt my palms getting sweaty as my legs nervously started bouncing up and down. Without giving me time to answer, he took a step closer to me, eyes still locked in mine. Each time he inched closer, I used my right foot to slowly push myself and the stool back. It seemed to be the only option to get away from him; until he forced his hands below the sides of my thighs, holding the stool in place. He released a soft chuckle as he eyed me from my eyes, down to my lips. "You're beautiful," he said. From his voice, I couldn't tell if he was being serious, or messing around. It sounded sincere, however there was a smirk on his face. The smirk that he always has on his face when he's found an amusing target. Then he averted his attentions back to my eyes. His expressions softened up the moment his eyes landed back on mine. His smirk disappeared. I cleared my throat and broke the eye contact. I looked down at my palms as I rubbed the sweat against my jeans, "What do you want, Landon?" I asked, almost whispering. I felt his hand brushing against my right cheek, as he tilts my chin up to look back at him. His messy brown hair, his light blue eyes and his pink soft lips were just centimeters from mine. I felt his breath lingering on the upper tip of my lip. In a panic, I pressed my palms against his chest and push him off. He stumbled back with a surprised look on his face. "Aubrey." _ _ _ Landon Carthy is an arrogant boy, who knowns to have absolutely no care in the world. Making girls suffer feels great to him. But what happens when a new girl in town becomes one of his victims? Will she allow him to walk upon her like all the other girls do?

"I may not remember much, but I do know that I had the best time with you last night." Charlie drops his hand from his mouth and lifts his head to stare into my eyes, pushing his hair back from his face at the same time. "And I know this is awkward now, because I'm pretty sure we were both naked together in bed last night..." I choke on air, trying to dispel the imaginary object from my throat. Charlie reaches out and lightly grasps my hand; my eyes slide from our interlocked fingers to his shining pupils. "...but I still wouldn't change a single thing about it. So, I really do look forward to hearing from you later, Kaiydeen." It's like I've been taken hostage by his electric stare. I don't want to look away. I never want to look away. The busy noises of the street and the honking of the traffic fade as I lose focus, nothing strong enough to force my attention away from this boy. Finally, Archer loudly clears his throat as he flings his door open and plops into the car with a huff, breaking the trance between the two of us. I look away as I withdraw my hand from his grasp, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. This is going to be a long 6 months. ●●● Kaiydeen has always known what she wanted, more like who, but she never knew exactly how to get it. So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect. Someone that has always had an eye for her, and he isn't satisfied with biding his time until she's his. But when the one person she's always wanted admits he wants her, too, she's forced to make a choice. Should she go for the boy she just met or the boy she's always known? There is some use of mature language in this story, so if your eyes are innocent and you want them to stay that way this might not be the story for you. Credit to @slueths for the incredible cover!!

"Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

✎ 𝐒𝐓★𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐘 "You can't possibly treat me like this when I don't even know you" I say, meeting his gaze. "You're acting like a child." His hand suddenly moves behind my head, gripping a fistful of my loose hair. I squeeze my eyes shut, refusing to show the pain. "What did you just call me?" His voice is low, laced with warning. "Say it again. I dare you." I force my eyes open. "I said you're acting. Like. A. Child." My voice trembles as his grip tightens. His eyes darken, something more than anger flickering in them. He leans in, stopping just inches from my neck. My pulse races, my breath hitching as I hold his gaze. Then, after a long pause, he steps back. Releasing my hair, he smirks, turns on his heel, and walks away-as if nothing ever happened. ∘₊✧──────✧₊∘ ★⏤͟͟͞͞ 𝙷𝚒𝚜 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚒𝚛𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚒𝚜 𝚘𝚗𝚕𝚢 𝚛𝚒𝚟𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚋𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚞𝚛𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚒𝚐𝚗𝚒𝚝𝚎𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚑𝚒𝚖 ★⏤͟͟͞͞ 𝚂𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚜 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚜 𝚑𝚒𝚖, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚋𝚘𝚍𝚢 𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚎𝚖𝚋𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚝𝚘𝚞𝚌𝚑 ─────────────── ☆ S T A T U S : Ongoing ☆ S T A R T E D : Jan-6th-2025 ☆ F I N I S H E D : __-__-____ ☆ U P L O A D: TUEs. & FRIs. ─────────────── 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 ★★★★★ #1 yangjungwon #1 jungwon #1 simjaeyun #1 leeheeseung #1 parkjongsung #1 enhypenff #1 streetracing #1 hopelessromantic #1 sunghoon #1 ni-ki #2 enhypenjungwon #2 company #3 engene #3 jungwonff #3 college #3 race #5 enhypensmut
