The factions were made for safety. They were made to protect the people from the outside world. Wars were ended, crime went down, and less deaths happened. We were split into five factions. Amity, Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, and Abnegation. Thirst for knowledge, farming, selflessness, can't lie, and danger. They all had their background.
