How many detectives does it take to change a country? Apparently the answer is not enough.

Claymore Ybañez aspires to become a well-known detective, but his application always gets rejected. This year, however, is different. As he becomes more acquainted with the world he dreams to be involved with, he begins to see that being a true detective isn't how the fictions portray it to be.

Claymore never felt the pressure of achieving his dream until the day he was fatefully teamed up with Aspiel, a pompous rich man's son, and the innocent Bolt. Finding himself as the leader of the team, he faces the challenges of trying to keep the group together whilst fighting the forces of evil that threatens to devour their peace.
