"As long as you can still grab a breath, you fight. You breathe... keep breathing."

As a kid, all I ever learned was to fight, kill, discipline, focus, and survive. Living in a world of the apocalypse was all about survival and staying alive as long as I didn't hesitate to make a first move. That's what I learned when I was little. I never knew who my parents were.

When I was a child, I was trained in a small organization to become an assassin, a lone wolf, a killer, and a monster. But I wasn't the only one taught the art of killing. There were others like me; others had been through the same hellish life. But later on, when I was fourteen, the others and I had enough of being used as weapons. So, one day, we all defect from our leaders and escape right before we burn our organization to the ground. I don't know if the others made it out, but I could only say, "Ghosts never die... they are just missing in action."

My name is Max Perez, and this is my story.

*A/N: I do not own TLOU or any of their characters. I only own my OC character and ideas.*

Hello just a warning there is talks of suicide, drug use and foul language. Struggle with mental health and many more. So please read at your own risk My mind immediately flashed to that image I still can't get out of my head. I look around and suddenly I can't breath. No matter how much I tired I just couldn't get air. My chest was hyperventilating. I tried to breath in fact the sound emulating from my lips suggested I was breathing to fast. I stood leaning against the table for support. I couldn't be here right now. "Rose!?!" Chealse yelled. Then just like that my body hit the ground. When I woke up there was chaos around the lunch room. "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!" The crowd cheered. I sat up from my laid position to find Greyson's worried face kneeling down by my side. I look around to see a crowd forming in a circle. "What's going on?" I ask. "Chelase and Abby are fighting Sam." Benjamin spoke. "What!?!" I yelled. Benjamin eyes held worry. Greyson looked as if he wanted to say something. His mouth kept opening and closing. I stood from my seated position pushing through the crowd. When I got in front I found Abby repeatedly punching Sam in the face. Chelase held her arms so she was defenceless. Abby looked so scary in this moment. She looked like she could kill her with just a glance. Chelase let her arms go and when she did Jessica came in arms swinging. Then the blond girl attacked. It was three against two. The odds weren't looking good. So I did what I do best. I threw my hair in a ponytail and marched right in there.

⸻ 𝙐𝙉𝙏𝙍𝙐𝙎𝙏 𝙐𝙎 [ 𝘈𝘉𝘉𝘠 𝘈𝘕𝘋𝘌𝘙𝘚𝘖𝘕 𝘟 𝘖𝘊 ] ❪ 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 killing the man who brutally murdered her father, Abby Anderson, and the team that she brought to Wyoming return to their base in Seattle where they return to their normal lives, going back going through standard protocol daily such as checking supplies and scavenging for whatever they can find within regulated areas to build up their community... assuming there's anything worth taking, that is. As much as Matthew knows he may seem like a slacker for admitting to it, he prefers the more mundane side of things since that means not only is life good, but order and peace prevail yet another day. He just wished that Abby wasn't so hung up on things, Owen most of all, so she can enjoy life as he does. Unfortunately, her eyes have always been preoccupied with looking back on the past surrounding her ex-boyfriend and never in front of her, focusing on Matthew. He hated it. He's been keeping his distance for years, knowing his place and keeping his nose out of Abby's love life and just going on with his rather boring life. But this all changes when the war going on between the Washington Liberation Front and the Seraphites, a primitivist cult, becomes more long-winded and tense as they continue to fight over control of Seattle. Unbeknownst to WLF, however, everyone involved with the death of Joel Miller is being tracked down one by one by a small group from Jackson-Dina, Jesse, Tommy Miller, and the most prominent and dangerous figure of them all: Ellie Williams. ❫ ⸻ Warnings ; - Profanity, violence, angst, body horror, blood & gore, weapon usage, cannibalism, torture, etc. - 𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐇 Abby and Matthew are 18+!

Alright, so people these days are kinda different. Especially when the z-pocalypse started. Now people, or survivors as I call them, are kinda different. Unlike our days before, they can either take in a group or a lone stranger to be in their group. But right now, they're all different. They'll bust in to your property with guns as confetti, bazookas as fireworks, and grenades as firecrackers. Now once they took over your territory, they can either unhook your soul from your body or give you a chance to see our terrible world again. But don't worry about me. I ain't one of them. My names Rory by the way. Anyway, enough the talking and more on the story. In these so called "WalkerDays" People are struggling to survive against the flesh eaters for what we mostly call zombies but in our world, we call them walkers. In the middle of the apocalypse, Rory is a 13 year old girl who is living in Atlanta, Georgia. Rory's father is military man and has been elected as the leader of their group after the true leader died. At first, their community is at Fort Benning, then a week or so later, their group decided to take over a part of Atlanta then slowly take over the whole city. Weeks passed and they'd completed their task and had a very large community. As months passed Rory's teacher assigned her to be the leader of her group of 32 people in her school. One day, there was an attack by the deaders that happened in their whole community and Rory led out her group out to the safe house but one member didn't follow the orders which caused her group to be separated away from her and then she decided to travel on her own and later met a group.

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!) This story is copyright and built from my own imagination. This book was a special request from someone who helped me a lot. This viewpoint has less action than the original. She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice. I jumped.
