"Call off this plan of yours immediately, if you choose not to, the blood and limps of you and your sirens would be floating in the ocean, we have more fighters, you're outnumbered"

She scoffed and glared at me, "You land creatures believe you're so much stronger than us when you're united but not for long, Ketsuiki. Send all the fighters, witches and rulers you want, we'll kill them all just like we killed Myra. I'm only leaving you alive because you're Knight in shining armor will kill us all if you go missing.", she said in a serious and monotone voice as she walked back into the ocean, turning her back to me, while the sirens began to swim away.

As she walked away, thoughts flooded my mind. I couldn't leave her unscratched, she couldn't walk away from me, The Queen of Vampires with no bruises or cuts on her. I had one chance to do this.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

"So." She mused, sliding one black nail across her lip in a sensual caress as she stared at me with eyes the color of molten gold. "You are the one they call Huntress." Disregarding the pain in my side from the most recent beating, I straightened my shoulders and stood tall, my chin jutting out in defiance. "Yes." "Mm." Those intriguing eyes watched me from her languid position on the throne. "But, you are not just a huntress, are you?" I allowed the predatory instincts I usually worked so hard to keep hidden, to surface, feeling the burning of my eyes and shifting of bones under my skin. A slow grin slid across my face as my beast stared back at her through my human skin. The Queen didn't react to my sudden change of character, instead choosing to lean forward in interest. "How fascinating." • Once, the world was ruled by humans and technology. They were governed by a president that made choices for all. Vampires, werewolves alike hid their existence from the humans for centuries, blending in as a whole. Now, they hid no more. States are now territories governed by kings and queens, humans are regarded and used for no more than their blood and body before they are discarded and forgotten. Werewolves and vampires were at war, and it was said that the wolves had all been but snuffed out, save for one. When Adira is captured while hunting outside her homeland, she is unexpectedly sold to the Queen in the North. Wolf blood is sacred, it is said to hold inexplainable powers, and as the only wolf-borne known to humans and vampires alike, Adira fears for her life. Thrown into a world governed by everything she's been trained to hate, Adira fights for her rightful place in the world, a seat at the Queen's side. But proving her worth won't be easy, the price for failure is her life.

"No one is coming to save you. There will be no escape, there will only be you and me, here, for however long it takes for you to answer every one of my questions. If you are waiting for your King to come and save you, you are sadly mistaken, he cannot reach you here." That statement might have defeated any other prisoner, but she knew better. She had known and accepted that she would find her death here. She laughed as loudly as she could, making a show of it, "rescue me? Please don't tell me you think I'm a damsel in distress." His smile met her laugh, meeting her challenge with his own. "Distress? No. But we have just gotten started." ---- Adriell did not come here for a prince, she came for his throne. Born of the sea, bound by vengeance. Adriell, heir of the merpeople, and warrior, is captured by the humans from the land up above and transformed into the very creature she despises. Captured and transformed, she is a mermaid adrift, a warrior without her sea. Her prison becomes her battleground when she vows to assassinate the Sultan, the man who stole her life. To slaughter the sultan the way he slaughters her people. In the heart of the enemy's court, she discovers Allaric, the Sultan's son, a man haunted by his own secrets and a man who yearns for his father's downfall. Forced into a dangerous alliance, they navigate a world of shadows and lies, where enemies become allies, and hatred simmers into a forbidden desire. In this dark fantasy retelling, alliances are forged in blood, and the price of freedom is paid in secrets and sacrifice. A dark, enemies-to-lovers fantasy where the sea meets the sword. Trigger warnings inside.

[COMPLETED] I was cursed at such a young age, abandoned by my own wolf and the Moon Goddess for something that wasn't in my control. I don't even think having a mate is in the cards for me... ✨🌘✨ I jumped when the final horn sounded, circling the garden before everyone became silent. They all returned to their seats, my father rising from his chair as I stood from my seat along with the other pups. I struggled to breath as we took our position, standing in the centre away from everyone else. My father offered me a reassuring glance though it did nothing to ease my anxiety, all I had to do now was wait. My eyes widened when the moons blue light shined down on me, illuminating my skin as I stared up at the sky in awe. "We thank the moon goddess for the power of her light..." I dropped my gaze back down, my fathers words surrounding us, "...Shall it bathe you and grant you strength, agility, speed like the wolf..." The pups around me began to moan in pain, capturing my attention as I furrowed my brows. Their features were all contorted by an invisible pain that inflicted them but I felt absolutely nothing. My heart raced when their groans of pain became screams but I- I suddenly drop to the ground, a painful throbbing in my head forcing me to the ground. I grip the sides of my head, screaming. I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups. Looking down at myself, I only see my body, no paws and no fur. I hadn't shifted... ✨🌕✨ Book 2* 'The Wolven King' is the first book and must be read in order to understand this one. ⚠️ WARNING!! This book is mature and should only be read if you are 18+. There are depictions of violence, mature language, sexual behaviour and sexual abuse.

Book 1 of "Bloodlust" series. "I'm going to give you one chance to answer me. Where is she?" She asked, looking into my eyes. I looked back at her, terrified. "I swear that I don't know what you're talking about!" I answered, starting to shiver. She smiled wickedly. "You know, the only reason I sent my brother away was because I wanted to interrogate you myself. Whatever he would have done to you doesn't even begin to compare with what I'm going to do to you if you don't answer me. So... One more time. Where. Is. She?" She said, in a condescending tone, as if she was explaining something to a child. "Look, if you want to kill me go ahead. I don't know anything." I said, looking into her eyes and faking the confidence that I definitely didn't have. She looked at me, cocking her head to the side, and for a few seconds I though she wouldn't to anything. My relief didn't last though as she laughed coldly and looked at me with a half smile. Her laughter was beautiful, even though it sent shivers down my spine. It was the same with her eyes and smile. All of which showed me that she wasn't kidding. "Where did you get the necklace?" She asked. I froze, was that what that was all about? I didn't know! "I told you before, my dad left it to me, I swear." I said truthfully. She looked at me for a few seconds, thinking. I couldn't shake the feeling that everything about her was cold. "Well, even if you don't know anything, she'll come for you. And I will have the answers I want." She said with indifference before adding huskily in my ear. "And... I think we can have some fun together while you stay. Don't you agree?" She said as she laughed again and gave me her signature smile. Everything about her showed me that she wanted to hurt me and even more. She wanted me, in every way possible. Rated M(Mature content): Contains triggering content, read at your own risk.

A peaceful family picnic turns into a nightmare when Iyra locks eyes with a wolf emerging from the shadows. Frozen, she watches as more wolves encircle them, growling with bloodlust-until they suddenly retreat, leaving her with more questions than answers. From that moment, nothing feels the same. Strange dreams haunt her nights. Her family seems to be hiding something, and before she can make sense of it, Iyra is thrust into an arranged marriage with a mysterious werewolf prince-one who knows far more than he lets on. Now enrolled in Amara Academy, a school for the supernatural elite, Iyra must navigate a dangerous world of power, politics, and hidden enemies. War is brewing, and dark forces are closing in. As she unravels the truth behind the prophecy. Iyra faces a choice: confront her destiny and fight for those she loves or risk everything falling apart. *** "We can't be together," I whispered. "No?" he challenged, his hand brushing my waist, a touch so light it made my skin tingle. "Then why haven't you walked away yet?" My hands trembled, and I hated the way my pulse betrayed me, hammering in my chest. "Because I'm not afraid of you," I said, my voice steadier than I felt. He leaned in closer, his lips ghosting over my jaw, his breath warm against my skin. "No, you're not afraid of me," he whispered. "You're afraid of how much you want this." "That's not true," I snapped, shoving him harder this time, creating the space I so desperately needed. He stepped back with infuriating ease, his smirk still firmly in place. "Keep lying to yourself, sweetheart". "I'd rather die than accept you as my mate," I shot back, storming past him. He chuckled behind me, his voice smooth and teasing. "Careful, love. You're going to hurt my feelings." I didn't dignify that with a response, but my heart wouldn't stop pounding.

There are worse things than death. ___ "What is wrong with you?" I seethed. She had my back against the wall, pinning me down so I couldn't move. She was much stronger than me, even when I used my strength to get out of her embrace. I held her gaze and I knew that she was gone. There wasn't an ounce of goodness left in her body. She laughed at my question. Of course, I knew what was wrong with her. But I have to find a way to get her back. "What is wrong with me? Ha, nothing sweetheart." she told me with a smile on her face. "I'm just having a little fun." "Yeah, and fun for you is killing innocents," I growled. "Oh, I hate to say this to you but they aren't all innocent." I finally broke free of her and I dropped her to the floor. I held her down with both arms while I was on top of her. All she did was give me a smile. An eerie smile that made a shiver run down my spine. "I should kill you for what you've done," I whispered. "I should make you pay." "Oh, but Sebastian, you won't," she said. "You know why? Because at the end of the day I'm still me, and you will never hurt me, will you?" I hated that she was right. I couldn't kill her. My mind told me that it would be the best to do it but my heart told me otherwise. I mentally cursed at myself for letting this happen to her. "Elora, I know you're still in there." I said. She was still on the ground, but she was not resisting which seemed odd. "She died a long time ago," she said finally. "Alongside her love for you." ___ Book Two in the "From Death to Life" Trilogy #13 in Bloodlust
