This is the story of a girl named Iyrioina "Rio" a young woman surviving in the streets of southwest Detroit in the 1980s. She and her best friends Demetrius "Big Meech" and Terry "Southwest" T Flenory. The three who gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in American history.

With Meech's charismatic leadership and charm, Rio's sweet but determination, T's business acumen, and fraternal partnership vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of hip hop.

Not to mention the love story between Meech and Rio, the betrayal, hardships, and love that will come their way.

(This gonna follow the BMF TV series but with a little twist, for example, Meech will have one child that he shares with Rio at the start of the book.)
