"What's that?" he blurted out, pointing to her wrist before he could stop himself.

Safia turned her head slightly, surprise flickering across her features. She glanced at her wrist, and for the first time, Pope watched her speak without the typical hesitations that seemed to follow her. "It's... it's an angel number. 333" she replied.

Pope leaned closer, intrigued. "Angel numbers? What does that mean?"

Her cheeks flushed as she tucked a stray hair behind her ear. "It's, uh, based on numerology. The number 3 is supposed to signify creativity and growth, and 333 is often interpreted as a message of encouragement from the universe. It's like a reminder to trust the process and keep going."

He watched her explain, her shyness momentarily melting away. Pope found himself captivated by the passion in her eyes, the way her entire demeanor transformed when she spoke about something she loved.

From that day onward, Pope's world shifted. The girl who once sat silently in the back of the class became the center of his universe.
