Unrequited love refers to a situation where one person has romantic feelings for this person but didn't show it to her they become enemies. In other words one person feels deep love and affection for someone who does not reciprocate their feelings, often leading to emotional pain and longing.

But they're didn't know that they 'loved' eachother.
