“Do you not talk Cherry?” I asked. She nodded, and gave me thumbs up, telling me that I was right. Just then the elevator stopped and the door opened with a ding. She went to step out but then turned to me and pointed to the hallway and raised an eyebrow as if asking me if I wanted to join her.

“Are you asking me if I want to come with you?” She nodded her head quickly, still smiling.

Normally I would have said no, but there was something about this girl that fascinated me and I felt like I need to know more.
