The fall of Wall Maria marked a dark chapter in history, but for some, like Freya Völker, that date is much more than a distant event in time-it is an open wound that bleeds with every memory. After losing her husband and entire family in the tragedy, Freya finds herself engulfed in an abyss of pain and emptiness. In her desperation, she decides to enlist in the Survey Corps, offering her life as a sacrifice for a cause that, though it does not restore her hope, at least gives her a sense of purpose.

Her self-destructive behaviour does not go unnoticed by Captain Levi, who, burdened by his own tormented past, cannot bear to watch her risk her life with suicidal indifference. Determined to save her from herself, Levi trains her, sparking a conflict between them, marked by rejection and misunderstanding.

As they face the horrors of the war against the Titans together, Freya and Levi discover that the pain that divides them is also what unites them. Two souls shattered by trauma, trapped between the desire to move forward and the inability to escape their memories.
