Maybe it was his looks. James knew he was conventionally attractive, Regulus thought. It wasn't just people's compliments and gawking, but it was in general. He was tall, his hair was untidy but fell just right, and his grin made people fall to their knees just because of how weakening it was.

At least, that's how Regulus Black always saw James Potter. How was there anything attractive to him except his looks?



As they say, there's a thin line between enemies and agonizing eye contact with each other across the Great Hall, waiting for nightfall to arrive.
