when lorelie mulligan is one of the most studios people you'll ever meet. with a dream of going to sarah lawrence, you could tell she had 0 social life outside of her school and clubs, and she liked it like that. she didn't need boys or drama in her life. in short, her life was VERY boring. that's untill she was jolted awake by the fact that her highschool years had almost ended and she'd not experienced a single stereotypiacal american highschool event. so she turns to one of her acquaintances in her desperate time and asks him to help her experience highschool to the fullest.

rodrick heffley was not the typical love interest. he was nothing like the strong buff guys girls preferred.
so when lorelie mulligan came to him for help he was more than confused. her reasoning was: "well you might not be the best choice but youre one of the only men i interact with and you have the best connections". that was true, he did have many good and bad connections.
