This book is interconnected with The Sound of Your Voice light novel. Being a lone wolf, having no one to talk to about things, Ashley Rayne Garcia felt like she was drowning in the pit of darkness. Those thoughts were branching out in her mind and she was the only one responsible for them.

The world was too loud for someone to listen. People were busy removing the weeds and vines from their heads. One little step and Ash nearly fell into the cliff of insanity. The ray of hope she found was writing. It served as an outlet-a parachute to save herself and avoid the bloody death that awaits her. Along with this, he met Alexander Riley Valdez and the rest is history.
