Makhtūb.

A word for everything you cannot force, cannot outrun, and cannot bargain with.

It is what has been written for you long before you ever knew its name-the person you were destined to meet, the roads you were destined to walk, the heartbreaks you were destined to survive, and the moments that were always meant to find you.

Sometimes makhtūb feels like coincidence.

Sometimes it feels like fate.

And sometimes, it feels like looking into someone's eyes for the first time and somehow knowing that, no matter how hard you fight it, they were always going to become a part of your story.

Because what is makhtūb doesn't need to be chased.

It finds you.

Even when you are running in the opposite direction.

Because it's all written.
