In the vast depths of a mysterious swamp, there exists an ancient world teeming with both ferocious beasts and hidden creatures known as monsters. Within this realm of peril and opportunity, a seemingly ordinary python named Apophis is undergoing an extraordinary transformation. But Apophis is no ordinary snake-it carries the soul of a once-human, reborn into a serpentine body with a mind full of knowledge and a deep desire for power and cultivation. Each morning, Apophis makes its way to the swamp's edge to silently observe a giant crocodile and a fox monster named Finn, both engaged in their mystical training. It becomes fascinated by their ability to draw energy from the rising sun through a distinct rhythm, and after many days of careful study and mimicry, Apophis finally grasps the flow of energy from the heavens. This marks the beginning of its journey into the world of monsters.

You, Y/N, couldn't be happier in your entire life. The love of your life is fighting with you side by side and helping keep others safe and out of danger. His kindness extends to the far reaches of Ooo for you and he has made it very evident that he would do anything if it meant keeping you safe. You undoubtedly express the same feelings towards him on the battle field and especially off of it, taking great care of him and his comrades whenever they get hurt or are just in need of a friend. Soon, however, Finn starts leaving the tree house more frequently and he becomes a little distant. You don't take it too personally, but his ghosting mood starts to become a common thing in your relationship, and your suspicions arise. He'll leave late at night and come back the next day when it's almost dawn, covered in bruises or even still bleeding. He tells you it's fine, plugging in excuses for his behavior, until one night in the woods you find him with another girl. You had never been on quite steady terms with most wizards, but this one had to be the worst. The two of you have dark history and with Finn now getting in the mix without his understanding makes him a dangerous advantage to her. If this "training" keeps up with him coming home with more injuries then you will have to stop them. What if this girl doesn't stop? What if she keeps going until she kills him? What if she kills him to get to you? You can't risk your hero getting hurt by one of your own enemies. Once upon a time he lost you when you were too far from reach; you aren't going to lose him now when he's this close. If she wants to play tug of war with Finn then you'll entertain her. But the last thing you will do is allow him to be on the wrong side of wizardry. Because as far as your concerned, you're in the right. For the fae, magic is everything: status, power, wealth, honor. For Vera Reite, a fae born with no magic, it is a shameful reminder that she will never amount to anything. Whispers of a fae-killing monster begin to circulate the Moon Court. It lurks in the woods, feeding off the mana of its victims. Those that go missing and find themselves at the mercy of the beast are never seen or heard from again. Fear quickly takes hold of the fae court; it's only a matter of time before their whole world is destroyed by this creature. However, it offers Vera a glimmer of hope. When she learns of it, she ventures into the wood to kill the beast, believing that she will be able to absorb the magic it has stolen. But the woods are as dangerous as the beast, and Vera soon finds herself lost. In a stroke of luck, she comes across an old manor deep in the forest where a strange boy is sealed away. If Vera wishes to slay the beast, she will first have to uncover the secret of the manor and its prisoner before it's too late. 𝐀 𝐟𝐚𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜, 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭.
