In every continuity Optimus Prime gets the Matrix of Leadership at some point... so why not give it to our Transformers Animated Optimus Prime?
During the War, maybe even long before it and Autobots victory followed by decepticons banishment, the true meaning of a Prime gets lost and becomes a military rank. The Matrix becomes a myth that is even more unlikely to be true than the existence of the All-spark.
While fighting with Megatron in space, The Warlord manages to drag our beloved leader down with him, but Primus sees the potential in Optimus. The creator of Cybertronian race decides to give the Matrix of Leadership through the All-spark to Optimus Prime. Both leaders crash down without the knowledge of what has occured.
Young Professor Sumdac finds our fighters and uses them to start a technology revolution in Detroit. While our repair crew mourns the loss of their leader, now with the All-spark to protect, they have to stand against difficulties alone.
Later Optimus now with the slowly accessed knowledge of the Primes has to work with Megatron to return to his team, uncover some secrets and end the conflict for good.
(Yep another story in making! I always liked Tfa Optimus Prime! First Transformers fic. Hope yall will enjoy!)
(I know that Optimus got the matrix in the end, but didn't have it inside his chest like other continuities. This fic simply is an au that Optimus directly gets the Matrix early on.)

During the Golden Age of Cybertron, there was a well known gladiator, Megatronous. Throughout his years in the gladiatorial ring, he always saw a small sparkling in the seats watching him and cheering him on. This sparkling was Trigona. Trigona, the sister of Bumblebee, was a sweet sparkling. She was very energetic and adventurous. If there was one thing she could do, it would be to fight along side her idol, Megatronous. During one of his fights, Trigona had to use the restroom and was bumped and fell into the gladiatorial ring. All the Cybertronians saw this and began to freak out. Megatronous saw her fall and was in the middle of his battle but when he was able to shove his opponent away, he ran over to her and picked her up. His opponent came back. He held her as he fought until he won the battle. When he did, he raised his arm in victory and then raised Trigona in the air. The audience cheered. Even since that moment, in Trigona's life, she's trained and worked hard to become the next gladiator. She wants to follow in her idol's footsteps. But as she gets older, she must choose a side; Her brother, or her idol.
One Small Mistake
This story is based in between Transformers Prime {This story is getting rewritten so ignore any typo or misspelling in here.} Everything in the world is at peace. No unicron, no Predicons, no Megatron. For the time being but that's not to say he's not working on doing something soon. A ancient creature from past time life on Cybertron has appeared that Megatron had wanted control over and still wants control but lays low to take this creature. This creature has been seen before and cause a riff of problems from team Prime and one bot on the team in particular. Can this bot protect his gift and this creature while protecting everyone else and his love without a repeat with the past? Unexpected, a Transformers Prime Fanfiction that shall combine various aspects of different Transformers shows, as well as multiple OCs that will expand the storyline much more.
