Jen smiles whilst saying this, not in an unkind way at all, but Agatha swallows the lump of apprehension in her throat. Logically, she knows that Jen does not mean to say this to embarrass her, but there's a hot flash of humiliation in the pit of her stomach. Obviously, she's being irrational; nobody knows about.. those ones. Not even Rio.
She forces the heat creeping up her neck down and says,
"I don't have any."

So she is very surprised when 8 years later, Wanda her magic appears once more, this time in the form of a powerful hex trapping an entire town. As Agatha arrives realisation fills her that Wanda does not know who she is. She just wants to figure out what happened and make Wanda remember. If she has to pose as Agnes the nosy neighbor to do this, so be it. When Wanda discovers who she is but there is still no recognision, Agatha is completely broken. Giving her the lie that she wants her powers for herself ensures that Wanda will take away all of Agatha's pain, one way or another.
