Orm was on a video call with her friend, catching up after moving to the U.S. with her family. During the conversation, Orm unexpectedly spotted Ling, a beautiful stranger in the background. She was captivated by Ling's beauty, developing a crush without meaning to, and found herself focusing on her for the rest of the call. Afterward, Orm asked her friend who the person in the video was, and her friend explained that Ling was her cousin's colleague. That was the last time Orm saw Ling-until months later.

When Christmas came around, Orm decided to visit the Philippines for a five-day vacation and reunite with friends. During another video call with that same friend, Orm saw Ling again, this time a bit tipsy, celebrating the holidays. The memory of her first encounter with Ling came rushing back, and coincidentally, it was the day of Orm's flight back home.

After arriving in Cebu, Orm spent time with family before heading to her friend's house. To her surprise, Ling was there, one of her friend's cousin's close friends. Meeting Ling in person left Orm in awe-she was even more stunning than on video. Feeling nervous, Orm decided to have a drink to build up the courage to ask for Ling's social media handle. She succeeded and even asked for a selfie as a keepsake.

Once back in the U.S., Orm initiated conversations with Ling, and over the next four months, they grew closer, realizing they had so much in common. Their conversations were genuine, and without realizing it, Orm had fallen deeply for Ling. They eventually planned to meet during the summer for a beach trip, excited to spend time together.

When summer came, they met again and traveled to Siargao, one of the Philippines' famous beach destinations. They didn't plan anything romantic, just a fun getaway as close friends. They spent the entire day surfing together, enjoying every moment.

Prologue "Not all heartbreaks come from betrayal. Some grow from choices made in silence." They were happy once. Truly. Stupidly. Brilliantly happy. After the rivalry, the tension, the guarded hearts-Lingling and Orm had found each other. Two doctors, one heart. They stood in the dawn light outside the hospital, palms pressed, quiet smiles blooming. And for years, they made it work. Lingling soared in internal medicine-panels, journals, awards. Orm, ever proud, filmed her behind the scenes, smitten and steady. They shared shift schedules, socks, even toothbrushes. Fans adored their chemistry-Orm's teasing, Lingling's glares that always ended in a blush. But slowly, life crept in. Lingling picked rounds over date nights, grant proposals over cuddles. She missed anniversaries. Ignored Orm's soft pleas to rest, to breathe, to be there. Not out of malice. Just... neglect. Lingling believed love would hold on its own. But Orm was tired of holding it alone. "I miss us," Orm said once while Lingling typed away. "You never look at me the way you look at your career." Lingling didn't flinch. "My work matters." "And I don't?" Orm whispered. She didn't say no. She said nothing. That silence became a wound. Orm stopped filming at home. Stopped asking. Stopped hoping for a space in a life Lingling was building without her. Until one night, suitcase in hand, Orm stood by the door. "Do you even see me anymore, Ling?" Lingling didn't look up. That was all she needed. She left-no slammed doors, no last plea. Just a note on the fridge: "You chose your calling. I just wish you made room for me in it. - O." Lingling came home late. Read the note under harsh fluorescent light. And for the first time in years, she realized- She'd won every award. But lost her heart. Cross My Heart, Suture Yours: CODE RED

18+ ONLY. This story contains mature themes and explicit smut. Read at your own risk. Contentedly single and successful at 30, Lingling has built her perfect life after overcoming hardship. Marriage? No thanks. Dating? A nuisance her meddling best friends keep forcing on her (as she's the only single person left in her group of friends). She just wants to support them, especially Lookmhee on her wedding day. But fate-and maybe Lookmhee-has other plans, leading to a clumsy bouquet standoff with a captivating ash-blonde woman. Lingling thinks she's escaped the matchmaking trap, only to agree to babysit Lookmhee's cousin... who turns out to be the very same woman she accidentally fought over flowers with. Maybe fate, and her best friends, know best after all? A/N: So, I began writing this story while in Thailand last week. It's my first trip out of the country (where I'm residing) and I was writing this because I was a bit disappointed when I couldn't see any LingOrm billboard ads during my first day (only saw one, the Ichitan one in Chiangmai and it was my last day) 🤧 So yeah, to make myself better, I wrote this out of nowhere but it's still unfinished...though I plan to continue writing this but no idea how this story will turn out. The story is typical but yeah I was needing distraction at that moment so I didn't really care. Anyway, I should prolly stop being a silent fan and meet other JKRs so I knew where to spot LingOrm ads the next time I'll travel back to Thailand HAHA.

DISCLAIMER This story is purely fictional. It has no connection to real-life events, individuals, or entities, whether living or deceased. Any similarities are purely coincidental and unintentional. Ling Ling Kwong & Orm Kornnaphat, of course, are lovely girls and not as the characters mentioned in this fanfiction. Remember, this is a fanfiction! Enjoy! **All photos are credited to their respective owners. Prologue The first time Ling met Orm, she was six years old, hiding behind her mother's leg at a bustling café filled with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. It was her parents' favorite place, though she never paid much attention to it-until that day. Orm, a little girl in an oversized apron, stood on her tiptoes behind the counter, stacking sugar packets with intense focus. She looked up, locking eyes with Ling, and grinned. "You wanna help?" Orm had asked, holding out a packet. Ling hesitated. She had never been invited to do something so ordinary before. But the warmth in Orm's voice was different from the polished, rehearsed greetings she was used to. From that moment on, Ling and Orm were inseparable. Their differences never seemed to matter. Ling, with her designer dresses and chauffeur-driven rides, and Orm, in her simple clothes, always smelling faintly of coffee beans and warm pastries. They built their own world within the walls of that small café, sharing secrets, dreams, and laughter. But some things were never said out loud. Orm never told Ling that her heart raced whenever Ling smiled at her. Or that she memorized every little habit-the way Ling twirled her straw in iced coffee, or how she tapped her nails against the table when she was deep in thought. And Ling? She was blissfully unaware, believing that nothing between them would ever change. Until the day she fell in love with someone else.

The first time Shen Shimian played a game, he was scolded by his teammates. He mustered up the courage to scold back, but he clicked the wrong button and ended up binding a couple relationship. Shen Shimian tapped his toes in embarrassment. His roommate said, "You can pretend to have an online relationship with him, and then ruthlessly abandon him after he falls in love with you. This way, he will cry and live in regret for the rest of his life." He also took out the real case in the post to motivate him. Shen Shimian was amazed by what he saw. He endured humiliation and tried his best to make people like him. He succeeded. The other party was very crazy about him. Shen Shimian, who had been waiting for this moment for a long time, dumped the other party according to the steps in the post. The other party was still asking him why. Shen Shimian sneered, "Do you still remember the game at 5:15 pm on June 14th? You scolded me 18 times in one minute in the game, and there was not a single repeated word." After breaking up with an online lover, before Shen Shimian could live a real life for a few days, he ran into the online lover who had been waiting for a long time downstairs. The online lover is nearly 190cm tall, handsome, and looks exactly like his idol in the e-sports circle. Before Shen Shimian could react, the 190cm online lover pressed his waist and pressed him into a dark corner. There was no one around and it was pitch black. The online lover in front of him was standing tall and strong, with a sinister and cold look in his eyes that was full of danger. Shen Shimian felt that he was probably going to be beaten. As a result, the online lover held his phone and forced him to look up, replaying the screen recording of the 14th frame by frame. The online lover's tone was cold: "Do you understand? Such a bad operation is definitely not possible from me." "Break up? Impossible."
