Nezuko was a simple girl with a lovely family. She loved her brothers, sisters, and mother very much. Suddenly, her life takes a drastic turn when her family is left slaughtered by a demon, with only her older brother, Tanjiro, surviving. Well, did he really survive?
Tanjiro laid limp on his tatami mat, not breathing at all. Nezuko couldn't give up hope yet, he was still warm. She stays by his side. He moves. He growls. He sits up. He's no human anymore, Tanjiro is one of them. A man eating demon.
Yet not all hope is lost, Tanjiro seems self aware and unwilling to eat flesh. With her newfound life, Nezuko is sent on a spiral to cure her brother, eradicate demons, and avenge her family. Will she reach her goal? Can a fiery sensei teach her to master the sword? It is a tough call, but Nezuko isn't giving up so easily.

Yes, I know SOOOO original. I've been wanting to write a Demon Slayer au switch fic forever and I've finally gotten around to it! I'm going to try to make it original, at least with the plot. Please feel free to correct any errors I make. And yes, I'm giving Rengoku some plot armour because I still can't let him go to donut heaven.
Just as a side note, this fic will contain violence and minor language. I'll put a warning for anything else before a chapter.
 Enjoy! 😘

(lol I'm awful at descriptions, but hey, it's a learning process)

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.
