After a life of hardship, Tyler Smith's journey takes a startling turn when he is reincarnated as a Cybertronian sparkling named Moonshine. Gifted with a new form and purpose by the Prime, Prima, he is sent to Earth, where he crashes and unknowingly triggers a long-forgotten signal. Autobots Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, in disbelief, uncover the sparkling in the forest-an impossible discovery that reawakens hope and mystery among their ranks. As Moonshine grows, he will uncover not only Cybertronian heritage but also the truth behind his connection to one of the Primes, sparking intrigue and conflict across worlds.

An ambush. That was all there was to it. The Prime was alone at that time, launching his only sparkling off world to protect her. He was so close to losing her to the Decepticons, at least that was what he thought. He was left heavily damaged, leaking energon, for the other Autobots to find. The priority was not the Prime, but his sparkling. Their objective had been achieved, they did not need to do anything else. Optimus Prime was for their Lord and master to defeat, not them.
