My purpose for writing "THE WEIRD KID" was to show all kids that it's ok to be weird/different, and also shine a light on black fathers being present in their kids lives.

They'll stop at nothing to kill me, plus I have no clue what exactly I'm fighting against and on top of it all I am nothing without my locket. My locket is my true source of power, it's what kept me alive that terrible night.
