Grizelda Marcilla, known as Zelda to her friends, was always considered the Wallflower of Slytherin. She preferred to stay in the background, content with going unnoticed by the bustling crowds at Hogwarts.
Mattheo Riddle, son of Voldemort and notorious bad boy, ruled the halls with his group of friends. He thrived on being the center of attention, whether for good or bad reasons.
For years, he kept Zelda at a distance, afraid to involve her in his tumultuous world. One night during their 6th year, they make a promise to one another that someday they would be together.
When they return for their 7th year, everything has changed. Zelda has blossomed over the summer, her once-mousy hair now cascading in shimmering waves, her shy demeanor replaced with loud confidence. Heads turn as she walks the corridors, and whispers follow in her wake.
Mattheo notices the change immediately, his dark eyes widening as he catches sight of her on the train to school. A possessive growl builds in his throat as he watches other boys vying for her attention. He clenches his fists, torn between his promise to keep her safe from his world and his burning desire to claim her as his own.
Little does Mattheo know, buried deep in her family's history lies a sinister blood curse that has been passed down for generations. It is the very reason she now insists she never loved him. But Mattheo refuses to accept this and will stop at nothing to make her confess her love for him. The more he pushes, the harder it becomes for her to deny her true feelings, trapped between her cursed fate and the burning desire for him.
Will their love triumph over fate, or will they succumb to its cruel hand?

Excerpt:
I looked up and stared. My reflection looked back at me in the mirror of the dark room. My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow.
Glowing eyes were not normal.
Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
What was I then? For that, I had no answer
