To Be a Hero.. (OC X MY HERO ACADEMIA)

To society, a hero is to save those in need while a villain is only there to cause trouble and hurt those in need. Villains are considered cruel, like they chose that life. How naive can you be? People look at the surface and paint everything black and white, without ever thinking about what drives someone to take that path. Do they ever stop to ask what happened to the so-called villains? Do they ever wonder why some people get labeled as 'villains' before they even have a chance to decide for themselves?

Heroes, on the other hand, are worshipped for their bravery, held up as symbols of hope and justice. But what is a hero when all they do is follow orders? When they turn a blind eye to the suffering that doesn't fit into the neat little boxes society created for them? Heroes take on the role that's been written for them by a world that only cares about image, not truth. They fight, they smile for the cameras, and they pretend they're above the rest.

But what happens when a villain is someone who was failed by the system that made the heroes? What happens when the lines between good and evil blur, and the only difference is who has the public's approval?

Being called a villain doesn't mean you're evil. It just means you didn't fit into the narrative society wanted for you. And being called a hero doesn't mean you're righteous. Sometimes, it just means you were lucky enough to be on the 'right' side.
