In a world where at birth you are immediately partnered with another person for the rest of your life. No one chooses your romantic partner other than the universe, not your parents, not you - the universe. And there is nothing that can change the decision that is made. Now you must be wondering, how does the universe decide who you are to love for the rest of your life?

The answer is simple.

From your zodiac sign, of course. Community's are split up - based on the different zodiac signs - and people only fall in love with the same sign as them. Wait? What if they don't find anyone to fall in love with, in their community? What do they do then? Well, they are then forced to into a marriage to anyone who their parents choose.

But Briar was different, and so was Dawson. She never expected to fall for a Aries, and he never imagined the day he wouldn't be able to take his eyes off a Cancer. So how will they be able to be a couple, when it's illegal in their societies?

Oh, and did I forget to tell you? I'm half mermaid." "Don't you bring unicorns into this, they are real! I shall prove it!" • • • There is a legend that, a long time ago, a dozen beings were disgraced. They were cast down to earth, banished from the heavens. The gods turned away from their pleas. They eventually blended into the crowd and lived lives as humans. They were never to be seen again. They were The Zodiacs. However, they're just a made up story. Isn't it? Things shake up when twelve students show up at Nova Institute Of Astrology, twelve students with 'unique' names. They seem like normal teenagers until an evil being descends upon the school seeking revenge upon them. Why, you ask? Well, because apparently, his ancestor was ridiculed and kicked out of the being a Zodiac. Talk about holding a grudge, am I right? A teacher leads them away from their boarding school, their normal lives and everything they know. Leads them to a large cabin in the woods. She tells them that they're magical and have powers. Okay, What? Apparently, they are the only ones who can defeat him. That's where the big question comes in: Can they actually defeat him? But, I mean, who believes they have powers right. ✨ Book 3 from Extraterrestrial Encounter ✨ -*- They always told me I belonged to the sky. Not because I was special or different, but because ever since I was a child, I would spend hours staring at the stars, searching for answers no adult seemed willing to give me. My name is Selen. I'm nineteen years old, and I work as a research assistant in one of the oldest observatories in the colony. I live among star maps, coordinates, and telescopes. But sometimes, when the world falls asleep and I'm left alone beneath the vault of the sky, I feel... something. An invisible gaze, warm and distant. As if the stars weren't the only ones watching me. I don't remember much from when I was a child. Just fragments: a distant roar, strong hands lifting me from the mud... Blue eyes that didn't belong to any human being. They told me I was in danger, and that someone saved me. But no one ever wanted to tell me who. And yet, tonight... as the sky opens above me and the forest whispers ancient words, I have the strange feeling I'm not alone. Maybe this time it will save me and take me to safety. -*- [ I'm still trying to figure out if this is going to be a long story or just a glimpse into how things have settled down in the near future. Maybe you can help me. If you have any idea leave a comment. ]🤔🤷 🔴 As usual beware! This story will be marked as Adult story. Strong language, fighting, blood, death and of course consensual sex scenes and more. 🔴🔞
