Makayla Recker is just your average 16 year old girl....kinda. Makayla has secerts, and rumors and lies beyond compare. The people that do know them, or started them are the least of Makayla's worries. To her mother, Makayla is a depressed paraniod and lonely teenager. Makayla's mom is best friends with Tammy, Laura, and Kim. All of them have teenage kids, all of them are single mothers and they all compare parenting tips while getting drunk off a 5 dollar bottle of wine they bought at walmart. Once Makayla's mom, Annette, tells her friends about how she feels about Makayla being "depressed" and all, the ladies suggest giving Makayla a journal, it'll help her express her feels but not having to deal witht the annoyance of a 40 year old mother asking. So that's just what Annette did.
