Hyunjin doesn't believe in love anymore.

Not after what Seungmin did to him. Not after being left behind when he thought he had found someone who understood his silence. Since then, he's kept to himself-quiet, sharp-eyed, and cold. A boy of few words, too many bruises, and a sketchbook full of unspoken thoughts. His parents hated hin for some reason.

Felix, on the other hand, is all warmth and freckles. He's the kind of boy who laughs with his whole chest, who writes poems in the back of his notebook, and whose past is just as bruised as Hyunjin's-but hidden behind sunshine. His dad left when he was in middle school and his mom never really cared about him. He loved someone but got rejected.

Felix joined the same school as Hyunjin. They both work at the same tiny convenience store.

Felix found Hyunjin really interesting.

And slowly-quietly-Hyunjin's world begins to change as he lets Felix in.

He starts drawing again. He starts smiling.

But love doesn't come without shadows, and the rain doesn't fall without reason.
