Bree Davenport was excited for a new life on the Bionic Island. Well, sort of. Her best friend was still on the mainland, and her very own brother basically hated her for conspiring with his enemy. Everywhere she went, Leo reminded her of her own shortcomings, even if Adam and Chase tried to stop their fights. She thought that their little chat with Maggie solved things, but apparently it didn't. Life on the island was not like life back in Mission Creek. He made a swift recovery, quickly joining her group and climbing up the ranks at the academy. His name was River James, and he didn't know where he came from. The only thing he knew was his name and that he had some sort of bionics, though he wasn't sure what exactly he had. Bree took it upon herself to show this guy the ropes. As the weeks wore on, Bree and River grew closer, and her own bad feelings about the people closest to her grew, as well. River showed her a world without her family and friends, one where it was alright for Bree to do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted to. She was finally free from the weight of being a bionic hero, but there was something . . . off about the whole situation. Just when Bree thought things couldn't get any better, they got worse. For as long as she could remember, her world was a little cracked here and there.
