Scars that Burn

What if she had committed an unforgivable sin? Could she ever meet his eyes again when he looked at her?

"Hate me, beat me, rape me... but please, don't do this. Your silence is killing me. W-why don't you just end it, Jungkook? I'm a sinner." Tears fell freely from her eyes, unbidden and ignored. She wished desperately to turn back time, to stop herself from making that terrible mistake. But deep down, she knew-there was no hope left.

He only smirked at her helplessness. It was a scene that pleased his eyes, but not his heart. The price he had paid was far greater than the crime she had committed. Fate had bound them together, but did she truly believe he would let her live freely after what she'd done?

"You're going to pay the price," he said coldly. "You'll face a side of me I never showed you. You'll have everything-luxuries, cars, money, mansions, a full bank account. But you'll beg for my love, and that's something I can't give you anymore. This life will suffocate you."
