In this story, a college student named Danny discovers a pair of mind-reading glasses on campus. Initially excited by the power they offer, he uses them selfishly to manipulate his way through exams, social situations, and even a romantic relationship with Emma, a girl he idolizes. As Danny becomes more addicted to the glasses, he loses touch with reality and begins to experience overwhelming anxiety from the flood of others' thoughts. His unchecked ambition ultimately leads to a tragic end when he is struck by a car while trying to escape the chaos in his mind. The story explores themes of power, deception, and the consequences of manipulation.
