Citadel X wasn't a place for the faint of heart- the large community stole, scanvanged, and had most likely slaughtered thousands of innocent survivors. Living there was a complete shitshow, let alone being a soldier at CX (as most called it) was even more difficult. The non-stop training, the need for perfection, and *the secrecy*. The secrets were the worst. Higher ups would leave in helicopters and come back, covered in blood. The sight was unsettling to say the least.

Ronan Kaelis, one of the best soldiers to ever walk the compound of CX.. And he hated it there. He had attempted to escape a total of 13 times, the last time being the one where he was an inch away from the wall that surrounded *his* cage. Then he got shot.

It had been an entire year since his last escape attempt, and he had given up. He couldn't leave, afterall he'd been born there so *they* knew every goddamn thing about him. He might as well have been dead, and he sure as hell felt like he was.

"Ronan. Ro-Ro? You're zoning out again, mate." Said the aggravating voice that belonged to one person and one person only. Isaac Laurence, Ronan's best friend (not by choice, he'd say.)

23 parts Complete Mature

A ragtag gang of teens teams up with a neighboring girl gang when a major cartel moves into town, threatening their families, their turf, and the community they've worked so hard to protect. ***** Cash West formed the Seven 20s - a gang of six overzealous teens with guns - to keep his tiny, crime-infested town in nowhere California safe. His methods are unorthodox and frankly illegal, but the town loves his Robin Hood heroics. However, the gang gets more than they bargained for when the Mendoza cartel rolls into town, determined to knock them off the map. As the threat hits closer to home, Cash has no choice but to team up with his ex-girlfriend Tiana's neighboring girl gang, the Hearts of Spades. Soon allies become enemies, families get trapped in the crossfire, and romance brews as Cash fights to unravel a massive conspiracy that puts everyone that matters to him at risk. When the stakes are life and death, will the gangs be able to overcome an enemy more powerful than any of them could have predicted? Book One of The Seven Twenties Series Content and Trigger Warning: contains violence, drug use, mentions of domestic abuse, and mature themes.
