In this book, every week I will try to upload new devotions. We will start at creation and go to Revelations. We will go into creation and the plan to clean away our sins. I have decided to this book for friends at my school. I am learning from a very spiritual teacher who understands the bible. My teacher likes to say the old testament is Jesus concealed, and the new testament is Jesus revealed. I will show this in numerous ways. I want to be like her when I grow up but first I must start here, with this book, for my friends. I get mostly what I talk about from The Life Book. I do not directly take what it says but I say it in new words with same meaning. I hope I can teach you to be a Christian if you are not one. If you are, I hope to make you a better one, understanding more of God and Jesus. Do not take what I say and let it go over you but use it in your life that you may be rewarded in heaven. Take it and live like Jesus would want you to live, not like others want you to live. I hope you learn from this. On the comments if you want, you can share what God did for you or you could inbox me. I wish to be your friend not just another person you read devotions from. Why do so many people on this planet believe in a divine being? Is it even sensible to believe in one? With increasing progression in human knowledge of the natural world around, there seems little reason to believe in a divine being. With this, the pressure increases on both the agnostic and Christian to abandon their search for the answer. Yet on the other front, the Christian also begins to face the rise of old enemies that once plagued Christian orthodoxy. Similar to its predecessor, this book and its compilation of themed articles addresses the issues in the logic, philosophy and thoughts of Christianity from a layperson point of view. Some of these articles serve to expand and clarify the points raised in its predecessor, and some on completely new topics. Yet unlike the predecessor, this book focuses more on the doctrine and basis of Orthodox Christian beliefs and how Christians can apply them to everyday life through articles that are once again, academic, reflective, and argumentative. Just like 'A Practical Guide to the Logic, Philosophy, and Thoughts of Christianity', this book is the result of a single individual's search for God. It promises to be challenging and thought provoking for the genuinely open-minded and interested. Even so, the articles are at best 'arm-chair theology' and are therefore meant to be easily understood by any interested agnostic and Christian with a slow yet provocative push into the basis of Christianity and her doctrines.

The world was full of trouble. Full of confusion and a catastrophic dilemma. One couldn't imagine at what destructive measure it would disintegrate into. While so many things were done to make the world a better place. At some point, it would later be revealed that the biggest problem was not a lack of educational facilities or a lack of health facilities. Believe it or not, Africa, also wasn't the world's biggest problem. The problem with the world today is sin. Sin brought about problems that would perpetuate into many more generations to come! It's almost unbelievable that someone would leave greener pastures to settle in a beat-down environment like Earth. One would wonder what this being could ever want. If life existed beyond the surfaces of our universe, why stay? If there was the possibility of walking with a glory that outshined the brightness of the sun, why hesitate? God cannot love us anymore than He loves our neighbor. His love tank is so vast that it accommodates everyone. Had He only sent Jesus Christ to the rich or the poor in African households, His love would then be conditioned to those that qualified. What makes His love so unique and strange is that He loves the broken and the sinners. He loves those of us that are unlikeable and unattractive. He persuaded His only son to die gruesomely to have all of mankind at His bosom. In the movies, opening doors and buying a bouquet of flowers is symbolic of love. In families, love is expressed in many different kind of forms. Even animals have ways in which they show affection. While all of that might stand out. It cannot be compared to the love of God. God can feel love, and He is love!

Like any human, I'm not going to be perfect in delivering what I share, so if I mess up somewhere, you can even rebuke me and tell me how I presented something wrong! It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little by little I had to find my way and put together the lessons I was taught from different sources to seemingly lead a holy life. My supreme happiness came from when I found Jesus. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world. Visions, testimonies, miracles and more came knocking at my door leading me into a dose of Heaven on Earth. Blue Roses for My Bride series: Book 1 NOTE I am not a writer, but I do enjoy writing. I learn as I go where writing a book is concerned. So the book has a lot of flaws, typos and words may not be in the correct order. It may be a finished book but there is still lots of work to do on it. After the 3 weeks orientation program of the NYSC, I was posted to a secondary school at Oyan for the one year service. I was given a room on the school compound at the Corpers' quarters. On getting to On getting to Oyan, I started looking for a Pentecostal church where I could be worshipping, and soon I was able to find one. Shortly after I started worshipping in the church, I joined the choir. Fortunately, it was at the time when the choir leader just left the church, and there was nobody to coordinate the members. Before I knew it, I was made the choir leader after being interviewed by the pastor, Pastor Williams. I was loved by everybody in the church, especially the choristers, because of my unique voice. Whenever I sing or lead a song, the whole congregation has a way of murmuring "Huuuuunnnnn!" with a sigh of satisfaction when they hear my voice. Most of the choir members were younger than me, so they call me "aunty" or "Sister Sewa". One of them was Bode, who used to play keyboard for us in the church. He was so gifted when it comes to instruments; there was no instrument he couldn't play. I always felt the presence of God whenever he was on the keyboard. I was named Adesewa after my late grandmother, who passed away shortly before I was born. My dad loved his mum so much, and hence transferred the love to me, believing that his late mother was the one who came back, more so, according to him, I was the mama's carbon copy. It was after he became saved, that he knew he was wrong. My second name was Yetunde. My dad saw me as perfect. Anything I did or said was right, even when I myself knew I was wrong. In a nutshell, I was his favorite. When my mum noticed that daddy was treating me like the apple of his eyes, she wasn't taking things easy with me at all. She spanks me at every slight mistake I made, mostly when my dad wasn't at home.
