When Erik moves to Beverly Hills from Calabasas and starts at a new school he meets many new people, but one girl in particular makes a lasting impression on him. His light in all the darkness surrounding his hell at home.
(******This is not to sexualize the Menendez brothers, will not mention graphic details of the abuse for trigger reasons and respect for the boys. I truly feel so sad they went through what they did and hope they get a resentencing soon and can have a somewhat normal rest of their lives with their family. I write this to give a light hearted idea of what a positive relationship could have been like for Erik in high school to humanize the brothers, because the media treatment and portrayal of them they got when the case happened was so sad.)

Everything is cringy and bad about this story, but I decided to complete this book since I got a lot of comments disappointed it was never finished. Eric didn't choose or really want to be gay, it just kind of happen- something that just happened, he can't even remember how he found out he was gay all he knew was that he was, And it wasn't like there's nothing wrong with that. Eric wasn't homophobic, he didn't feel disgusted in himself but rather disappointed. Everyone put pressure on him to be this perfect person, whether it being grades or sports or family- everything would be ruin if he came out. That's why he hadn't told anyone in the last couple years, not because he's scared- pft, Eric Goodmen scared? Star football player? Could have all the women by just a click of a button if wasn't for being in love with the same gender- scared? He was just a little 'inconvenienced'. One party changed everything though- to many drinks and making out with the wrong gender to send his fake perfect life crashing down when discovering out the first person he came out to, kissed, and had sex with was Callum Micheals. Mr pretty boy. Like life flashing before his eyes- Eric questioned whether Callum remembered or not? *** The smell of a nose itching fabric softer, too expensive for his parents to buy and the feel of warm feather pillows is what Eric woke up to. Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be.
