For those that like to know, I got this idea from a stupid sign that I passed on the bus saying 'Evan's Lodge, Next Turn Straight On Right' on the way out of Dundee, and I imagined first that there was probably kids that would see humour there and change the word straight to gay. And I was listening to the latest Disneymania album with Lucas singing his song, and I could imagine Ryan looking at that sign and feeling so hurt by it. Then I got the idea 'what if Ryan wasn't gay' and how that sign would really affect him. None of that really has any relation to the story tho, but the ideas for a lot of my stories come from very weird places. Enjoy.

Destined To Meet
Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. Clay's life seems fine, but is everything except from fine due to bullies ruining his happiness day by day. His grandpa is the only one who knows everything about him, but when he gets really sick and passes away, Clay's life completely collapses. To regain his control, he starts developing obsessive behaviour, getting so bad that it turns into OCD. The control he tried to regain gets lost even further with the day. But when the only place, his sport, he finds peace also gets ruined by bullies and his OCD, George is suddenly there to stick up for him when everyone else isn't.
