Twilight meets, Game of Thrones (lowkey) meets, The Vampire Diaries/The Originals, maybe like a hint of The Secret Circle. My inspirations for the first of four novels. The Spades Saga.
I've never really been able to finish a story I've always started them when I had everything in the world to do. I still do, but this is good exercise for my mind, a healthier escape from my world than drugs and sex and I've always wanted to write this.
Spades is a long, and involved fantasy novel series that begins when a 23 year old warlock burns down his home on his mother's orders and flees with her and his younger sister to the country Amor. The Spades and his mother's motivations are about as thrilling as the unexpected adventure he has on his trip as well as a new life in Amor. In this first novel of four, he becomes enlightened to who he is.
