Men should be thankful women just want equality... when they could seek revenge. * For as long as anyone can remember, men have held the vast majority of political power. While female leaders started to win top positions around the world, the United States continued to be incredibly male dominated. Yet it turned out the country was just one election away from flipping parties- not Republican or Democrat, but a new party altogether. Once the Change happens, not a single male is left in government. Men's roles in work are limited and controlled by their female counterparts, and their main responsibility is to support women in the home as 'housemen' and in the community, but never in positions of greater standing. Men who misbehave are reprimanded and lose their positions if the women feel they cannot be trusted in them. For the first time ever, they are at complete mercy to women's expectations of them, and the consequences can be severe. The first female president, Honor Westin, imparted this new way of life and rebranded the country into the 'Nation', which all went over surprisingly well. She put forth her successor, Carol Sealander, who carried it through after Honor Westin's second term. Carol is just as ambitious as Honor, but has a slightly softer edge and is possibly being puppeteered by Honor behind the curtains. Too few are brave enough to speak out after the country immediately moved in such a positive direction. However, some felt things were too extreme, and one of the loudest voices in the early days of the Change, Phil Deanmore, wasn't willing to back down against this new government. Despite Phil's resistance, Honor didn't want to dispose of Phil completely, but hoped to find a way to use him as the country moved into its new chapter as the Nation. And with enough time, Phil may have found himself willing.
