The Whispering Winds Of Antarctic Snow

I've never tried before this to write a poem outside of school. I've always really struggled with poems, my mind can't seem to get behind rhymes. For that, I viewed this poem quite poorly for some time, especially considering the circumstances and feelings it was written within. I had intended this poem for someone else, to express something I felt I didn't have the right to put into words. Yet I realized after that in actuality, I had really wrote this for myself, and removed it before it could be read. Coming to today, my circumstances in life have changed, my beliefs have changed, and so I've slightly edited it, enough to change its meaning. I don't know if I'll do poems again, and still can't decide if this is a very good one; however, I'm no longer afraid to share this poem and see what people think.
