My name is Acelynne, but everyone calls me Ace. Ever have those sort of days that starts of well and goes down hill from there, kinda like when you are on a roller-coaster? Story of my life. Icing to the cake - I am a werewolf.
First of all, no I do not get excited and turn furry at the full moon. I can change at will thank you very much. And no I do not turn into one of those creepy, half-man/half-wolf things like Professor Lupin from Harry Potter that go around attempting to bite and “contaminate” helpless little humans. Also my bite will not turn you into a werewolf. Although it would rip some limbs off... hmm, now I think I know what I will do to the next person that annoys me. Only joking, I’m not that insane... okay well that is debatable. But in all honestly, people do not taste good, trust me on that one. Now, fluffy bunnies on the other hand are a different story.
I've always known I'm not the only one of my kind, but I don't belong to a pack either. Some people need to get that through their thick skull and quickly. My patience doesn't last forever...
Ace is your normal teenage girl, well as normal as possible considering her 'special' gene. *Cough* Werewolf *Cough*. After her mother is killed and her step-father kicks her out. She is forced to live with her Grandmother in the small town that Ace hasn't visited since she was a child. However, it is not exactly how she remembers. It's filled with shifters, all who are determined to win her trust and have her in their pack. Why do they want her? And why were people dropping dead like flies?

In the woods, lurking in the shadows is someone who can't stay away and will definitely ruin all of Alexa's plans and change her life showing her that things aren't always as they seem. How can two people that hate each other be mates? To add to the mix, parties, late night discussions and a school trip is sure to add drama to her life. Warning: this story is sometimes very cliché and has a few of my own twists on it. The guy might make you cry, laugh or blush and wish guys like him existed in real life. (Well, at least further into the story.) This story contains swearing and some slightly mature content. You have been warned. You know when people say how it's like love at first sight when seeing their love for the first time? You look him in the eyes and know he's the man of your dreams. Bullshit! We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. After loosing herself in a life of crime; Ace makes the mistake of breaking into the wrong house and ends up under the same roof as a bunch of virtuous Do-Gooders who hunt the supernatural. Of course, she thinks she's just using them for a free place to stay. Little does she know, they're about to get her involved in a lot more than she bargained for. Of course, every story needs its villains, so, two seductively sassy vampires and a sadistic, ageless entity of evil who promises to end life as we know it (no surprise there) come into the mix. Ace will find herself struggling to determine where exactly the line between Good and Evil lies, all the while spewing random innuendos, cracking terrible jokes, and making pop culture references. This is going to be a mess. Inspired by things such as: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Supernatural, John Dies at the End, Constantine, Odd Thomas, Mean Girls, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Deadpool WARNING: The Narrator in this book (Ace) is an egotistical, insensitive, and selfish person. Even the more serious parts will have some comedic input from her and she can tend to be a bit abrasive or offensive. This is, after all, an anti-hero's point of view. This book contains characters of different ethnic backgrounds, races, and sexual orientations. A few will have mental and/or social disorders. So, keep an open mind.Complete
