The pain roars through my veins unlike anything I've ever felt before. 

Blood streams down my arms and hits the intricate-tiled floor, staining the otherwise perfect white porcelain a dark rich red. I collapse and hear a scream that sounds like it's from a distance, but after all the shouts and shrieks I've heard tonight I can't tell whether it's mine. I look up into the eyes of the monster that has ruined and destroyed everything and it returns my stare with a smile that splits its face ear-to-ear. 

"You lose Claire," it chuckles. "You lose." Blood streams down its mouth from its split lip where I satisfying punched it earlier.

I have less than 5 minutes to do something to change the spell. The spell that could rip away all the things I never even knew I had. The spell that will destroy all of us. If I don't?

We all die.

16-year-old Claire Bourne lives a perfectly normal life. The same loving yet mysterious dad, the same school, and the same never-ending cycle that seems to forever repeat itself.

Bile burned her throat as she coughed and all the while she was still flailing at the water, fighting the drag of shoes and clothes to keep afloat. She should kick them off-that's what you were supposed to do if you fell into the ocean with your clothes on-but she was only a dozen feet from the dock. Besides, it was her only coat. Jason watched her the way she'd watch a barracuda. "I know you're following me." "Following you?" What. The. Hell. She gave a mighty kick and tossed her coat onto the dock. Jason just stood there. "I nearly drowned last week, you know that? Now you show up as if nothing happened." "Last week," Cass said slowly, "I was in Argentina." Whatever he'd seen, it wasn't her.

My wolf does love the thrill of the game of chase." She shudders at my response and I frown. I begin stripping myself of my clothes. "I suggest you close your eyes or turn around, if you don't want a show." The red color returns to her cheeks and she blushes, covering her eyes. Bones cracking and fur sprouts out from my human skin to transform into my large black wolf. With one look at me, it was enough for my angel to faint. My wolf whimpers as her closes her eyes in shock and falls onto the bed. I hope she will accept us. My wolf lets out a sad howl in agreement.

Then Jorge and I used our witch and wizard powers to make to body disappear.
