When a unfortunate happens upon y/n Ellis and her family, her mother suddenly passes and her father bolts, she has to move schools from her American school, Ilvermorny, to Hogwarts, for her 3rd year, she needs to live with her crazy foster parents before she's off to school. Y/n gets sorted into Slytherin and meets a few friends and one very annoying boy named Draco Malfoy. She has to navigate the struggles of school and being the new girl, trying to push down her emotions for certain people, making the wrong choices, while uncovering more of her family's secrets.
