Sometimes things just don't work out. The world is crashing down but not all is lost you see, for one end may leave an opening for a new beginning. As an outbreak of a pathogen sweeps through the Midwest there are still people alive and looking for somewhere to go. The entire Midwest is quarantine and is blocked off. No way in no way out. The government is helping the people inside, or so it seems they are.
