When The World Went Dark

Valari's world shatters in an instant. A loud bang jolts her awake, before she can make sense of the fear creeping into her chest, her father burst in into her room, frantic, terrified, and demanding they leave immediately. The streets are no longer safe. The world she once knew is crumbling, overrun by grotesque, mindless creatures feeding on the remains of humanity. Forced into a desperate escape, Valari watches in horror as her father kills a man...or rather who was once a man as the truth sinks in, she realizes nothing will ever be the same.

With nowhere to go and loss weighing heavy on their hearts, Valari and her father must navigate a world where survival comes at cost, and the dead aren't the only monsters lurking in the shadows.
