To Kill A Mockingbird (Fanfic)

After all the events of childhood, Jem and Scout are grown up. Now in 1947 at 24, Jem is a successful lawyer, having moved from Maycomb to a small town many miles away. There, he meets Ruth, a young woman whom he finds mysterious. Many around town believe she's a spy, but no one can prove it. When sent to work on defending a man convicted of murder he decides to investigate the crime and finds himself working with Ruth to figure out the truth.
They have two weeks to find enough evidence that the man is innocent but little do they know they'll end up going on the adventure of a lifetime and possibly even falling in love.
