An immortal with extraordinary powers never expected her life to unravel after an encounter with the Avengers. Having lived for centuries, she had seen it all-but nothing could prepare her for the disarray of living under the same roof as the Avengers. As chaos and conflict follow the team wherever they go, she finds herself reluctantly involved in their battles and struggles, caught between her own desire for peace and the constant whirlwind of heroism.

But things take an unexpected turn when Loki, the God of Mischief, is brought into the fold, living under strict supervision at the Avengers' compound. Once their bitter enemy, now a prisoner and "rehabilitant" of sorts, Loki is as dangerous as he is charming. Despite her initial wariness, the immortal and Loki find themselves crossing paths more often than either would like. The tension between them, at first subtle and barely noticeable, quickly becomes a constant source of friction, and despite their differences, a begrudging respect begins to form.

In a world that never seems to slow down, their evolving dynamic becomes one of the more unpredictable-and oddly comforting-elements of their new lives. But even as they learn to tolerate one another, they'll both have to confront what it means to trust again-and whether they can find a way to coexist without the world falling apart around them.
