My story is about a girl that's 11 years old. Her favorite time of day is night. When the sky is pitch black with the moon shining down on her. Her name is Jennifer Parker.
So what happens in my story: one night Jennifer discovers the moon is no where to be found. She goes outside but the moon still cannot be seen. The news starts on the tv saying an asteroid in space hit the moon and caused it to break apart. Jennifer's dreams were crushed. She always looked at the moon and thought that maybe one day she could go to the moon. Now nothing was right. The moon had been gone. Forever.

Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
