The best way to describe the Blackwood family is large, loud, and fiercely protective of one another. With 8 kids ranging from 14 to 27, their home is always full of laughter, chaos and most importantly love. But their youngest and only daughter Estella Blackwood who is only 14 has been their center of protective instincts.

Born with a few medical conditions, including a serious heart condition. Estella has spent most of her life in and out of hospitals, her health was fragile and unpredictable.

As her health worsens, each sibling copes with the fear and helplessness of not being able to shield her from her illnesses. Despite all the challenges and hardships Estella remains their source of hope and resilience.

This story explores the deep bonds of family, the sacrifices made for one another, and the power of love to carry them through even the most difficult times.

Having battled through a horrific childhood, his every breath is for the benefit of his brothers, who gave him a reason to live through those years. It is an act of selflessness that throws him in the path of a woman who actually sees him, not just his scars. Rachel not only recognizes his worth, but is willing to step into his life and share his experiences, no matter how difficult. Despite their mutual attraction, the past and present seem determined to keep them apart.
