Before you continue reading, I want to clarify that this is not just another story about Rimuru repeating exactly what happens in the original plot. I don't like to copy and paste, as it would only lower the quality of the story, making it feel repetitive. This is also not a story where Rimuru replaces Veldanava as the creator of the universe. I'm not drawn to that idea, as I feel that Veldanava's role is precisely to be the creator, and that is what he should do.
That said, this story is about Rimuru, but not the Rimuru everyone knows. In this version, Rimuru is an entity that appeared in the same way as Veldanava. However, instead of creating, he simply observed. For a very long time, he dedicated himself to watching how Veldanava created the universe, entertaining himself and having fun while observing. Rimuru, being an entity similar to Veldanava, added a bit of mischief, bringing some amusement to the process, but he had no intention of actively participating in the creation.
Like Veldanava, Rimuru possessed nearly the same level of power: both were omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. The reason they never fought to the death was that neither wanted to kill another being of their own nature. Moreover, if they had fought, the outcome would have been completely uncertain. They were so evenly matched that it was impossible to predict a winner without risking mutual destruction.
Therefore, they decided to cooperate. This lasted until the creation of the cardinal world, where Veldanava and Rimuru worked together. Although Rimuru, rather than working, simply watched and laughed, anticipating a future full of fun while Veldanava did the heavy lifting. Eventually, they both decided to incarnate, although Rimuru would only use an avatar to keep having fun around.
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
