Prologue
In the remote wilderness of Northern Ontario, Rembrandt Wyatt and his five friends-Kaitlyn, Aaron, Sophie, Ravi, and Lina-embarked on a life-changing gap year adventure, drawn together by their desire to escape the mundane and explore the unknown. The group arrived at a secluded cabin near Red Lake, eager to immerse themselves in the beauty and mystery of the land, where ancient legends of the Wendigo whispered through the wind. As they settled in and shared stories around the campfire, excitement mingled with an undercurrent of unease; the forest, vast and foreboding, seemed to watch them with knowing eyes, hinting that the tales of old were not just fiction but a prelude to the chilling experiences that awaited them. Little did they know, their adventure would soon blur the lines between reality and myth, plunging them into a fight for survival against an insatiable darkness.
Three girls stay over in a cabin. Only two come out alive, but with no memory of what happened the night before. A murder occurred, but no evidence to say who did it.
No suspects, no witnesses.
What happens when the people you trust the most, are not who you think they are? And is the killer finished? Or are the murders just getting started?
