Kurai is a weapon that was exposed to the black blood before Crona was. She is Crona's secret older sister! Kurai was trained how to use the black blood different than Crona. She can use the black blood to transform into any weapon she makes contact with.

Yoshiko was asked by Lord Death to come and help train Maka on how to use her weapon while Kurai comes to help Soul with his black blood and she discovers Crona! Medusa discovers that her first child is still alive and now wants her back. At the same time Maka is trying to let out her feelings to Soul, but is too afraid it will ruin their partnership.
